Montclair State University has over 20,000 students, over half of whom are Roman Catholic.  What makes Newman Catholic the dynamic community is -ALL OF US- the people of God who are privileged to come together in this unique place to Pray to God, Serve one another and grow together as brothers and sisters in Christ.

 

We are blessed that the Archdiocese of Newark since 1950 has provided professional staff to serve the Faculty, Staff and Students of MSU.    In addition, since 2009, the Archdiocese has invited and supported the work of full time missionaries from FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) to serve here as well. Our staff and FOCUS missionaries work together to assist and guide our students, particularly our Executive Board (Eboard) Student leaders  who are elected by their peers to serve as officers recognized by the Student Government Association (SGA) of MSU.
